You have just arrived at the online home of S133P (That's me). This is a compendium of my work and my thoughts. My hope and goal is that my blog posts and the projects I have worked on will be interesting to you. If you would like to suggest a topic for me to write about, or have advice about the site, don't hesitate to email me about it. My email is luke.purcell.256 [at] gmail [dot] com
Now that you know about me, I think it would be best to explain the way this site works, and why it is set up this way. First, I apoligize to users with javascript disabled. This site will likely either be broken for you, or at least less functional. In addition, users not using modern browsers will miss out on some of the visual enhansements that other users will benefit from. If you want to take full advantage of this site, I would personally list my favorite browser, and the browser that this site was developed in, is Google Chrome. If you dont like that, or want to explore other options, I would also recomend Safari or Mozilla firefox.
To navigate from here to the rest of the site, you can click on the top bar to see a list of the content on this site. If you are looking for what to start with, I recomend my article on motivation.
This site has a look and useage scheme that you might not be used to. First off, the navigation is tucked away up at the top. This was a concession made to the look and feel on the grounds that it was the easiest way to integrate the navigation without interfering with the content. The idea of making each page have a custom design came from a few places. One of the best explanations I have found is on smashingmagazing.com. The basic premise is to make the content more more compelling and readable, much like magazine articles VS. traditional web design where blog posts are only blocks of text with images.
Welcome, and enjoy.
