Graduation Requirements

 

Students in high school, grades 9 through 12, must earn 220 units of course credit, complete the prescribed course of study and pass the California State High School Exit Exam.

Community Service

40 hours of participation in community service activities are required. No units of credit are earned for this requirement.


*Mathematics:

  1. 1.Students must pass the equivalent of Algebra 1. This course is aligned to the High School Exit Exam.

  2. 2.Students who pass Algebra in middle school will be given credit for meeting the Algebra high school graduation requirement. Students are still required to take 30 units of mathematics while in high school.

  3. 3.Some students may take four years to complete the Mathematics requirement.

  4. 4.Students wanting to take pre-calculus, calculus, or statistics must do so through Sonoma State University or Santa Rosa Junior College.


**Four Years of Integrated Engineering are required. Engineering receives elective credit.


***Social Studies: 30 units of credit earned by passing the following perscribed courses of study:

  1. 1.10 units of credit in world history

  2. 2.10 units of credit in US history

  3. 3.5 units in American government and civics

  4. 4.5 units of credit in economics.
